Finland : Fellowship in parallel programming

A 2-year Fellowship is opening for an Experienced Researcher to apply new parallel programming techniques for Large Hadron Collider at CERN, Switzerland. An example of such new technology is Corento programming language developed by Atostek and Nokia:

The work will be performed at Atostek Ltd in Tampere, Finland, in collaboration with multiple European partners lead by CERN in Switzerland. Secondments are possible, providing opportunity to work closely with some of the other 16 project partners all around Europe.

The TALENT project is part of the Marie Curie ITN programme. An eligible candidate has a Master's degree and 4-5 years of research experience, or  a recent Doctoral degree and less than 5 years of research experience.


We are looking for new talents with sound background in programming, preferably in parallel programming using functional languages and the LLVM compiler back-end.
